I have a few followers that read these posts, and occasionally comment on them. I'd like to thank you for listening to my rambling and for putting up with it :)
As a sign of respect to you, the reader, I'd like to make a few changes around here in order to keep this blog active. I'd like to make this a place that you can go to and spend 10 minutes, half an hour, or more … reading interesting articles and learning something new.
Changes that I have made so far include:
- Modifying the CSS theme so that blog posts take up as much space as possible, and are easier to read. The sidebar has been removed from the blog category to help with this, and may also be removed from other pages in the future.
- Articles now use the 'Pontano Sans' font from Google Web Fonts, with the aim of making the text easier to read. Feedback on this font would be great, as I am considering whether I should use it for other parts of the site.
- I have re-tagged a few blog posts and made other slight organisational changes to make finding interesting articles a little easier. This includes a "related posts" section at the end of each article.
Promises for the future:
- From here on out, I would like to commit to regular blog posts - at least one per week. If you decide to visit this blog as part of your weekend routine, you should find at least one new article every week. That's my goal.
- Continuing to listen to your feedback. If you have suggestions or ideas that will make it easier for you to access the content on this blog, or if you have any topic suggestions, feel free to post those as a comment on any blog post, or contact me directly on my main website at www.shane-smith.com/contact.
