To My Friends and Colleagues:

For the last 2-3 months I have barely touched Wikidot. I used to be a regular here, commenting on every second post at the Wikidot.com Blog or giving my thoughts and feedback over on the Community Wiki (which still sports the New Year 2012 theme, I note). I miss all of that.

A variety of circumstances, from financial insecurity to a busy work schedule, have meant that I wasn't able to spend as much time on Wikidot as I would like. In the end, I have almost dropped it completely and stopped updating things here.

I've also lost the ability to keep up with the huge number of (mostly Wikidot-related) emails that I get each day. There are over a thousand unread messages that I need to sift through.

Yes, I would like to return soon and be more active at Wikidot, and I'll attempt to do that. I'd like to continue working with you all to make this wiki farm even greater than it already is. And I look forward to seeing what has changed in the past few months.
